In 2023, K2PN has done over 20 investigations of commercial, residential, and business locations.
K2PN heads back to Octagon Hall, one of the most widely regarded haunts in the southern United States, for a private investigation to verify and debunk evidence found in the July 2022.
K2PN will join our friends, RKB Paranormal, in Lawrenceville, Illinois to investigate the United Methodist Village. The activity at this location is across the spectrum of paranormal activity. It will challenge both teams for coverage! IT’S HUGE! One plus for the investigation, both teams will be staying in a haunted AirBNB!!! How great is that? Two investigations in one!
Cost per person: $109.42 (based on 10 people between the two teams)
The K2PN crew will be at the Haunted Gaines House to experience reports of paranormal activity from shadow figures to tables moving on their own. The Gaines House is the oldest house in Gainesboro, Tennessee and served as a Confederate Field Hospital. Kelly feels an entity in the building already and won’t say what it is (Jim knows, but he isn’t talking either).
Cost per person: $40.00
Visit The Gaines House Facebook page for more information about this historic landmark.
This is a new property on the Haunted Tour of Homes. This true Gothic Victorian Mansion is listed in the National Registry of Historical Places. Built in 1853, the property has served as a private residence, a brothel, a restaurant, and nursing home named The Oaks! We are expecting an experience like no other at this property. We’re joining forces with RKB Paranormal for this investigation and all team members will stay in a really cool Airbnb in Mayville, Kent
Cost per person: $89.38 (based on
Medics 4 Paranormal, PPF Investigations, and The Unseen Paranormal Podcast have joined forces to create an expo featuring over 75 vendors, a full day of speakers on various paranormal topics, discussion panels, and more! The EVP entitled "Elizabeth" was captured on one of our investigations of Octagon Hall. You'll hear a woman's accented voice say, "Elizabeth".
What makes this EVP significant is the name of the child who was burned in the kitchen is Elizabeth Caldwell, the 7 year-old daughter of the Caldwells.
The third EVP clip is the "Elizabeth" EVP in greater length to illustrate how difficult it is to glean EVPs from audio recordings. In this longer clip there is another EVP; can you hear it?
The second EVP was caught in the girls' room upstairs; this is a common EVP that's been captured by other teams as well. This EVP is in a man's voice, drawn out, letting folks know he doesn't want people in this particular room. (If you've captured a "get out" EVP from Octagon Hall, send me a DM, I'd love to compare them.)
An investigation starts with an agreed upon date and time for the investigation much like any other appointment. K2PN will present our “Initial Client Forms” either prior to or at the beginning of the investigation. These forms include our Confidentiality Agreement which will allow you to indicate your level of comfort with release of any evidence received during the investigation.
Paranormal investigators typically work in teams, with each member responsible for a particular area of the investigation. Our investigators collect evidence from clients and witnesses of the phenomenon through interviews conducted before, during or after the investigation. We also research the history of the location to include any former occupants and events.
K2PN will also check for logical reasons for the activity reported and keep an open mind to the possibility that there is no paranormal activity. There are explainable reasons for disturbances, like flaws in the foundations of a building, plumbing, gas leaks, or a client’s imagination. However, we are also open to the fact that there is paranormal activity that cannot be scientifically explained.
K2PN operates high-tech equipment, like thermal imaging, electromagnetic meters, temperature meters, ion detectors, and Geiger counters. They also use closed circuit cameras, audio recorders and surveillance microphones. We use this equipment to check for:
v Thermal Imaging and Temperature Meters = Temperature fluctuations
v Electromagnetic Meters (AKA K2 or Gauss Meter) = Magnetic field fluctuations
v Ion Detectors = Measures positive and negative ions within the air
v Geiger counters (AKA REM Pod) = Vibration
Our investigators will conduct a “stakeout” for a period necessary to witness and record any unusual activity in the reported areas. We hope to observe mysterious incidents that the clients or witnesses claim, such as unexplained noises, voices, apparitions, slamming doors, or floating objects, all while operating their equipment to document the activity as well. Depending on what is encountered in an investigation, we may request to investigate further at an agreed upon time.
Following the investigation, we try to review the data and documentation received during the investigation as quickly as possible. Upon final review of the points of interest garnered, we will contact you to review what was found and our analysis of what we believe may be the source of the activity.
As always, your safety and comfort are at the top of our list along with the safety of our team. We welcome your questions and concerns at any time during the investigation.
